Quirino is a land-locked province found on the north eastern part of the Philippine’s Luzon Island group. Composed of six municipalities Diffun, Cabrroguis, Saguday, Aglipay, Maddela, and Nagtipunan. Quirino was named after the 6th Philippine President Elpidio Quirino, it is dubbed the “Forest Heartland of Cagayan”.

Most people use Ilocano and Ifugao dialect across the six municipalities of the province the only transportation on the province is by land since its surrounded by mountains and forest. The province has busses, PU jeepney, tricycles, and vans as its public transportation vehicles the main artery of transportation that traverses the province is the national road from Cordon, Isabela to Dipaculao, Aurora and Santiago City to Maddela via Jones and San Agustin, Isabela.
